I had originally planned on eating at another place in the market, but it was very busy so I decided to eat here. The food and service was amazing. I felt it was a bit pricey, but not crazy expensive, especially since they get all their seafood from a stall next door. All the staff spoke English well and put up with/humored me when I spoke to them in my poor Spanish. I was trying to explain a dish my Spanish friend made for me once and the chef said he wasn't sure what I was talking about but he could make me a risotto. It was amazing. I can't imagine he would be willing to do that all the time, but I was there at an off hour and it wasn't too busy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some fresh seafood whilst in Mallorca. ~ Brent W

My husband and I had a fantastic lunch at Amar, located inside the vibrant Santa Catarina market. We ordered the ceviche and the sushi roll of the day, which featured tuna with broccoli and spicy mayo—a unique combination that really worked! Both dishes were exceptionally fresh, and you could truly taste the quality of the ingredients. The ceviche stood out with its bright, clean flavors, and the sushi roll had a nice balance of spice and texture. On top of that, the service was wonderful—the woman who served us was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Amar is a great spot for a casual yet high-quality lunch, and I highly recommend it if you’re in the area and looking for fresh, flavorful seafood. ~ Alli G

Siempre que paso por Santa Catalina no puede faltar mi visita aquí, producto siempre fresco del mercado. Puedes disfrutar desde rollos mas clasicos a sus Rollos propios como el A-mar Roll con esparragos y salsa de miso, una variedad de ostras siempre frescas o tapas mix-asiaticas como el Sam de langostino que es una locura su frescura y sabor es de otro mundo recomendadisimo! ~ Damian S
